The Tambo River Tourist Park, at Swan Reach is a great spot to spend a holiday.

The Park is conveniently located on the Princes Highway 20 kilometres east of Bairnsdale, and 13 kilometres west of Lakes Entrance, with convenient access to all that the Gippsland rivers, lakes, mountains and forests have to offer.

The beautiful Tambo River, a well known fishing destination, is an easy 200 metre walk from the park.

The Swan Reach jetty and the newly constructed fishing platforms on the riverbank are all great sites for bank fishing. The first landing is also accessible to wheelchairs and prams, and has a conveniently located car parking area. The boat ramp is only a short drive away.

The park offers a range of comfortable and affordable accommodation with something to suit everyone. The self contained units are popular with families and couples.

Powered sites are available for those who like to enjoy the freedom of their own caravans or tents.

Our free barbeques are all undercover, and a great place for a Club or family to get together.

Facilities include a recreation room, a well stocked library, a playground for the younger children, and a solar heated swimming pool to be enjoyed in the warmer months of the year.

There is room for boat parking, a fish cleaning area, and a fish freezer.

Rates are affordable, and as well as families we welcome many fishing and social clubs during the year. The park is conveniently located next to the hotel, and opposite the well stocked general store.

Greg, Aileen, their family, and the family border collies accept visiting dogs at their discretion.
